I was so disappointed when my favorite DTLA pizza spot closed. So, this self-proclaimed pizza snob had to search for another good pizza spot, which is hard for me in this city. I took a chance and tried Brooklyn Ave Pizza Co, they did not disappoint. The pepperoni pie and lemon pepper wings were delicious. The pizza had the ooyey, gooey cheese pull, which in my mind is one of the things that makes a good pizza. If I had known the lemon pepper wings were going to be so good, I would have ordered more than six. They were crispy and full of flavor. Service was on point, they honored my request for all flats. My new go to for pizza.

Brooklyn Pizza is one of my favorite pizza eateries in SELA! I love their aromatic dough and perfect balance of mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. You can't go wrong going the simple route with cheese and basil or the more savory route with a generous amount of crispy pepperoni. In addition, their sides are delicious as well. For example, their mole fries and wings are worth trying. If you like your beer icy cold, they serve a perfectly chilled glass of your choice of drink. Great place, great food, and great service.

My family gets pizza from here all the time and my only complaint is that it's hard to finish the large. The size of each slice is enough to fill up an adult! If you have to feed a lot of people and want an acceptional slice you can grab one from here.

Our favorite pizza is the Sinner and we always love getting the Parmesan papas with their lemon-garlic pink sauce. Service is quick, we've only walked in or gotten takeout. The fresh wood-fired pizzas are high quality every time. You might need a reservation if you're planning to watch a big game!

Nothing like a good quality pizza, bonus for the fusion flavors like mole and esquite! The marg was really yummy but the mole pizza will forever be seared into my brain. The only downside is dealing with LA parking, but I would absolutely come back to try more. I also had the pineapple cucumber agua fresca which was very refreshing.

Pizza dough makes the pizza for me and it was on point! We had the garlic knots which were awesome and the La Bianca pizza. We also got the wood fired wings which I forgot to take a pic of. The crisp was perfect on the wings but I wish the flavor was little more stronger. La Bianca was more on the subtle flavor but the dough made up for it. The house salad was delish! Good portion too! That orange olive oil cake was also yum! But this cake and the garlic knots were on their November special menu. Not sure if they will be carrying these choices in the future. I love how they sell pitchers of beers too! Our waiter was great but he could've checked on our water glasses instead of flagging him down several times for a refill. Interior of the place was a chill trendy hip kind of vibe. I really liked it. Only downfall was parking. It was difficult to find parking on a wed night but maybe there was an event going on? Looking forward to another visit.

2 years ago I worked in the area and I believe around that time it was fairly new . There was a lot of hype of the pizza place in Boyle Heights but I was usually in and out of the neighborhood. Never made time to explore too many places around. Finally made a recent visit and tried two pizzas. We ordered the mole and the cherry bomb . Both pizzas were really good and reasonably priced . Service was really fast for Friday night. My feedback is music was really good but it's way too loud.

Great spot in Boyle Heights! This is what we got for a group of five: The Sinner Pizza (17) - Could have been spicier, but solid Meat Lovers (18) - Very very salty and run of the mill carnivorous pie. Would skip. The pies are cut into 6 slices and very sharable. I'd come back to try the other pizzas as these two didn't stand out. I remember vaguely on another visit liking the Cherry Bomb. For wings we went to town. Also six wings per order. Buffalo Hot Wings (11) - standard, but meaty Lemon Pepper Wings (11) - nice dry rub that was crispy Mole Wings (13) - Unique with a nice sweetness Flaming Hot Cheetos Wings (13) - Better than expected. Good spicy flavor that doesn't get over powered by hot cheetos The chorizo gravy papas (10) were an overkill for us. Only good for the chorizo, but wish there was more gravy. Love that it's casual, clean, friendly and enjoyable
